DANCING WITH THE STARS: DOUG FLUTIE TAKES THE FLOOR
Tonight was the season 22 premiere of Dancing With The Stars on ABC. As I previously reported, there are three football players on this season: Doug Flutie, Von Miller and Antonio Brown. Every week, I will post their dances, along with my commentary. To make it easier, I will dedicate one post per player each week. First up is Doug Flutie.
I loved his spirit and personality. I also enjoyed the shout out he gave to New England and I wonder if he will do the same for the other teams he played for, especially since he did give a shout out to Buffalo. I honestly have to say he was one of my favorite dancers of the night. He may not have bee the best technically, but he certainly made up for it in spirit, hard work and a good sense of humor. I have a very strong feeling he is going to be this season’s Jerry Springer….not the best, but the Mr. Congeniality of the group.
I also love the fact that he is paired with Karina. She is the best combination of tough teacher and patient, kind person. she pushed him to his limits this week, but also treated him with respect. I also have to take my hat off to her.
What did you think of Doug’s dance? Sound off in the comments and as always, thanks for tuning in to Football In High Heels for all your sports news, highlights, entertainment and lessons!
