FOOTBALL IN HIGH HEELS: THE ARIZONA CARDINALS
Now that we covered most of the positions (We will get to more later, some of them are quite overwhelming for my overtaxed mind!) it is time to learn about the actual teams. Throughout the season, I will post about different teams, their origins, color choices and other fun facts. First up is the Arizona Cardinals.

Did You Know?: The franchise began in Chicago in 1898. They went on to move to St. Louis in 1960 and then to Arizona in 1988. In 1901, team owner Chris O’Brien purchased used and faded maroon jerseys from the University of Chicago called the color “cardinal red,” leading to the now famous nickname. The cardinal was added The team as part of the logo in 1947. The cardinal head was featured on helmets in 1960.
