FOOTBALL IN HIGH HEELS: TRIBUTE TO A WONDERFUL TEACHER
I am going to shift gears a bit tonight and talk about someone who was a very special part of my life. I just received word that my favorite teacher from high school has died.
When I was in high school, Ms. Uhle was the one who inspired me to become a journalist. She gave me the kick in the pants I needed to work hard, yet was still supportive and kind. She was known for her tough love, yet also the first one to cheer you on as you succeeded.
I have not spoken to her since high school, but will never forget how much she taught me and all the support she gave me throughout those formative years. Without her, I would not be the person and journalist I am today.
Thank you, Ms. Uhle. I will never forget all you have done for me.
