FOOTBALL IN HIGH HEELS: THREE NFL PLAYERS GO DANCING (WITH THE STARS)
Dancing With The Stars is going to have not one, not two but THREE football players this season. The show, which begins March 21, has featured many football players in the past and they have all done pretty well. In fact, Pittsburgh Steeler Hines Ward and Green Bay Packer Donald Driver won their seasons.
This season, we can look forward to seeing another Pittsburgh Steeler, a Denver Bronco and a legendary name take the dance floor. Here is a look at who is competing for that mirror ball trophy.
Pittsburgh Steeler wide receiver Antonio Brown with Sharna Burgess: Fellow Steeler Hines Ward won his season with Kym Johnson and Steeler Nation is one of the most vocal when it comes to football fans! With his good looks, personality and fanbase, he has a chance to make it far….if he can bring his moves to the dance floor.
Denver Bronco outside linebacker Von Miller with Witney Carson: He won MVP this past football season and is part of the winning Super Bowl team of 2016. We know he has dance moves based on his end zone dance, but can he rumba?
Legendary NFL Player Doug Flutie and Karina Smirnoff: Doug has been with teams such as the Buffalo Bills, New England Patriots and the Chicago Bears. At 54, he is the oldest (retired) football player to ever compete. He joked on GMA this morning that he would need tequila, BenGay and Advil to get through this season, but with his sense of humor, fan base and willingness to learn, he will go far.
