WRESTLING IN HIGH HEELS: CHYNA DEAD AT 45
Sad news for the wrestling world. Iconic WWF (later to become WWE) wrestler Chyna, born Joanie Laurer, has died. She was 45 years old.

IT IS WITH DEEP SADNESS TO INFORM YOU TODAY THAT WE LOST A TRUE ICON, A REAL LIFE SUPERHERO. JOANIE LAURER AKA CHYNA, THE 9TH WONDER OF THE WORLD HAS PASSED AWAY. SHE WILL LIVE FOREVER IN THE MEMORIES OF HER MILLIONS OF FANS AND ALL OF US THAT LOVED HER.

The wrestler, who rose to fame in the 1990s, wrestled in the Royal Rumble and King of Ring tournaments and became the only undefeated Women’s Champion in WWF history. She also starred on several reality shows, including Surreal Life and Celebrity Rehab With Dr. Drew and also appeared in various films.
