TV IN HIGH HEELS: BETTY WHITE ON THE SUPER BOWL (THANK YOU, EXTRA!)
Betty White is getting ready to appear in her second Super Bowl ad for Snickers!
White just celebrated her 95th birthday, telling “Extra’s” Renee Bargh, “Yeah, I’m 95 — I don’t feel a day over 97!”
After over 75 years in the business, you would think she has done it all… but there is something on her bucket list: “Robert Redford.” When Renee told her “Extra” can make that happen, she laughed, “Okay… no!!! I would faint.”
Betty is not showing any signs of slowing down, though, talking about teaming up with Snickers again. The brand is hosting a 36-hour livestream that will lead up to their live commercial with horses, cowboys and Adam Driver. “I did one several years ago, so it was fun to come back and do it again,” Betty explained. “Seriously, I am blessed with good health, and if you get to be this age and still have good health, you better be pretty grateful… As long as I can enjoy this and keep working and enjoy life, it’s great.”
Life will be good on Sunday as well as she watches the big game, sharing her main reason for taking it in is, “I like the guys.” When Renee agreed that their uniforms are cute, Betty quipped, “It’s a tight package.”
