TV IN HIGH HEELS: DANCING WITH THE STARS RECAP FOR APRIL 3, 2017
Hello and welcome to Vegas Night on ABC’s Dancing With The Stars. Tonight is exactly what it sounds like—we will have a Vegas theme. I wonder if Wayne Newton will show up. Not only is he a show alumni, but he is Mr. Las Vegas!
We open with a nice group dance before we get down to business.
Star: Nick Viall
Claim To Fame: Bachelor
Pro: Peta Murgatroyd

FIHH: It was actually his best dance so far. I really like the fierceness and determination they have. It was a good mix of content and style.
Len:Better than last week, but he can improve.
Julianne: He completely delivered.
Bruno: He offers places to improve, but he enjoyed it.
Carrie Ann: It all came together this week.
Scores: 7-6-7-6=26 out of 40
Star: Mr. T.
Claim To Fame: Pop icon
Pro: Kym Herjavec (Johnson)
Dance: Foxtrot
FIHH: I love how he is dancing to Dean Martin. He seems to be enjoying himself, despite still being stiff as a dancer. However, I love watching him, he’s the cutest thing ever. I love how everyone on the show just adores him.
Julianne: It fits him like a T.
Bruno: He cleans up very, very well. He loved it!
Carrie Ann: The audience was behind him like no other. Keep working it!
Len: He is a gentle giant.
Scores: 6-6-6-6=24 out of 40
Star: Bonner Bolton
Claim To Fame: Professional bull rider/model
Pro: Sharna Burgess
Dance: Charleston
FIHH: It is cute, but the fact that there are so many other dancers takes away from him. It’s way too distracting and annoying.
Bruno: He liked it, but it needs to be sharper and more on time.
Carrie Ann: She likes that he went for it, but it wasn’t his dance.
Len: It needed more freedom in the movements.
Julianne: It wasn’t his dance and he needed to have character.
Scores 6-6-6-6=24 out of 40
We get a sneak peek of Derek and Julianne Hough’s tour. I love the symbolism of this dance. I am in tears—them as kids, in the present and the future—the power is unlike any other. (At least that is how I interpreted it) They say it is an extension of a previous dance and that this is a form of therapy and culture. Amazing.
Star: Heather Morris
Claim To Fame: Glee star
Pro: Maks Chmerkovskiy—Alan is filling in
Dance: Tango
FIHH: That was amazing. I know she has done Britney on Glee, but she brought it to a whole new level.
Carrie Ann: She brought the bond to Britney.
Len: She is terrific and that had lots of content and hold.
Julianne: They not only did well, but they had great chemistry and other subtleties.

Len: It was lovely, entertaining and it made him smile.
Julianne: She loves this sweet side of her.
Bruno: She was like a born again virgin. He enjoyed it.
