TV IN HIGH HEELS: DANCING WITH THE STARS RECAP FOR MAY 15, 2017
Hello and welcome to the semi finals on ABC’s Dancing With The Stars. Tonight, our final four couples will dance twice for a chance to make it into next week’s finale. Each couple will have help from a judge for one dance this week as well.
Round 1
Star: Normani Kordei

Dance: Viennese Waltz
FIHH: I like how old fashioned it seems. The black and white seems to give it an interesting touch. This is by far her best dance to date. The chemistry, the choreography, the artistry—it is EVERYTHING!
Len:He has some constructive criticism, but overall thinks it was a job well done.
Julianne: They had a stumble, but are a magical team.
Bruno: He loved it!
Carrie Ann: She noticed some mistakes, but thinks she is unstoppable.

FIHH: He is the sweetest thing on the planet. He works hard, is so sweet and just brightens the ballroom. If he leaves, it will be very, very sad to see. He if nothing else, should win most improved.
Julianne: They are what this show is all about.
Bruno: Watching them is a joy.
Carrie Ann: He is here because he improves.
Len: He gives a great feel good factor and works hard.

FIHH: The dancing is amazing! She really shines and shows her personality this week. However, the other dancers make it hard to focus on her.
Bruno: She just let it go and let it out!
Carrie Ann: It warmed her heart to see her shine and it was amazing.
Len: It was sharp and precise—and her personality came out.
Julianne: She brought Zoey (Simone’s sassy alter ego) so hard!

FIHH: Beautiful, classy and amazing in every way.
Carrie Ann: He was painting a canvas with his body.

Julianne: Both of them were able to express themselves.

FIHH: Hearing her talk about her mom’s cancer battle and how Hurricane Katrina impacted her life completely breaks my heart.
As for the dance? She just walked into the finals with this one!
Len: He gives them a standing ovation.
Julianne: She is an absolute star.
Bruno: He loved it!
Carrie Ann: There is power in everything she does.

Claim To Fame: MLB star/Current World Series Champion
Pro: Lindsay Arnold
Dance: Tango
FIHH: He talks about his struggles as an MLB player and how he overcame his reputation as a bad guy and won the last World Series. This is his best dance ever and win or lose, he is the people’s champion.
Julianne: She is so proud of him.
Bruno: Well done!
Carrie Ann: His best dance yet!
Len: He’s worked hard and given so much joy.

FIHH: It is really nice to see her gymnastics journey again. As for the dance, I like how beautiful it is without being overly sensual. She really shined in this dance.

Julianne: Beautiful and well executed.

FIHH: His story about how his family supported him throughout his life is incredible. This dance really showcases his talent and personality. LOVE IT!
Carrie Ann: It was a match made in heaven.
Len: A bit long winded, but good.
Julianne: She loved it.
Bruno: He is on a roll!

Normani and Val and Rashad and Emma are SAFE! This leaves Simone and Sasha and David and Lindsay in jeopardy. The couple leaving right now is…..Simone and Sasha. Everyone is in shock.
