Bottom of the third, Tyler Wade gets a lead off single with a ricochet off Vladimir Guerrero Jr.’s glove. Kyle Higashioka hits a two run show to the loading dock. 3-0 Yankees.
Fourth inning. Clint Frazier continues the hit parade with a solo home run to left field. Gary Sanchez get a single, the ball dropping in front of Biggio. Blue Jays get the next two batters out but LeMahieu hits another home run to right field. 6-0 Yankees.
Fifth inning. Aaron Hicks beats the relay throw to first. He moves to second base on a groundout by Luke Voit. Frazier hits one to center field. Hicks motors home, safe as the throw goes wide.
Top of the sixth, Toronto finally gets a hit off Gerrit Cole, a double by Jonathan Villar. Biggio works a walk. A wild pitch by Cole allows Villar to score. 6-1 Yankees.
Bottom of the inning Higashioka hits a solo shot to left field. LeMahier get a double on a ball to the left field wall. Hicks walks, and Voit hits a three run homer to left field. The Yankees now have six home runs in back to back games for the first time in franchise history. 11-1 Yankees.
Top of the seventh, two men on base no outs. A possible cross up by Cole and Higashioka, the ball hits the home plate umpire directly in the face. He appears to be okay, but stunned for a bit.
Bottom of the seventh. A pitching change and two other substitutions for the Blue Jays. Frazuer walks. Sanchez grounds into a double play. Wade walks. Higashioka hits his third home run of the game. 13-1 Yankees.
Top of the ninth, last chance for the Blue Jays. Two quick outs for Nick Nelson, before giving up a home run to Joe Panik. Jays challenge on a close play at first, but the out stands.
