Stage 19: BOURG-EN-BRESSE>CHAMPAGNOLE

 

Remi Cavagna went solo off the front, followed closely by a group of 5 riders. They tried to catch up with him but and caught him with 46km to go, just after the sprint.

The breakaway was caught with about 33km to go. Seven riders sprint off the front including Sam Bennett and Peter Sagan as they attempted to gain more points for the sprint finish. 12 riders eventually compose the new breakaway. Soren Kragh Andersen goes solo off the front with 16km to go, staying away to win the stage, his second of the tour.
